This policy applies to mobile applications published by Oxorbit on Google Play (Android) and the Apple App Store (iOS). It applies to all users, regardless of country or platform. The website at https://oxorbit.com is covered separately by our website Privacy Policy.

1. Introduction

Welcome to the mobile applications owned and operated by Oxorbit (“we”, “us”, “our”). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use our Android and iOS apps. If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the apps.

2. Definitions

• Advertising identifier: a resettable device identifier provided by the platform, such as Google Advertising ID (GAID) on Android or Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) on iOS.
• Usage data: information generated automatically by the app, advertising SDKs, or related infrastructure (for example, that an ad was shown).
• Data controller: Oxorbit, which determines how personal data relating to the apps is processed.
• Service providers: third parties that process data on our behalf or as independent controllers, including advertising and platform providers.

3. Information we collect

We collect the following types of data in connection with the apps:

• Device and advertising identifiers used to deliver and measure promotional content. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or payment card details as a condition of using the apps, unless a specific app later asks you to contact us and you choose to do so.
• Usage data related to advertising and app performance, typically processed by advertising partners rather than stored in our own databases.
• Content you enter in an app (for example a licence plate or practise answer) is used to provide that feature. Where the app can work with public websites or on-device storage, we prefer that approach so we are not holding a copy of your query on our servers.

Our apps do not collect precise location. We do not use cookies inside the native apps. We do not collect server logs directly from you as a user of the apps.

4. How we collect data

• Through the app’s functions on your device.
• Through advertising and measurement SDKs integrated in some apps (for example Google advertising services on Android, and equivalent advertising frameworks on iOS, subject to platform permission prompts).
• If you email us for support, through the information you include in that message.

5. Purpose of data collection

• To provide and maintain the app’s functionality.
• To show advertisements that help keep many of the apps free to use.
• To measure ad performance and improve our services.
• To respond to support requests you send us.
• To protect the apps against abuse and to comply with law.

We do not sell your personal information.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell or share user information with other businesses for their independent marketing, except advertising identifiers and related usage data that advertising partners need in order to serve and measure ads. Those partners process data under their own policies. We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

7. Data security

We take the following measures to protect information we process:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) where the apps communicate over the internet.
• Access limited to people who need it to operate or improve the apps.
• Physical, electronic, and organisational safeguards appropriate to the data we handle.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data breach protocol

If a data breach affecting the apps occurs, we will:

• Contain the incident and review its cause and impact.
• Notify affected users and regulators where we are legally required to do so.
• Take steps intended to reduce the risk of a similar incident.

9. Your rights and opt-out options

• Uninstall: you can stop using an app at any time by uninstalling it. After uninstall, we do not keep a personal profile of you in the app.
• Advertising identifiers: you can reset or limit ad tracking in Android or iOS system settings. On iOS, you can refuse tracking if the app requests App Tracking Transparency permission.
• Access and deletion: depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information. Email us at the address below. We may need to verify your identity. Because we do not operate user accounts in most apps, our ability to locate data about you may be limited to support emails you sent us and records held by advertising partners.

10. Legal compliance

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we process data on the bases of providing the app you chose to install, our legitimate interests in operating secure, ad-supported software, consent where the platform requires it (including iOS tracking permission), and legal obligation.

11. Data retention

We do not retain a long-lived user account for most apps. Advertising partners may retain identifiers according to their own policies. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request and meet legal or security requirements.

12. Children’s privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Platform age settings (including Google Play and the App Store) help restrict access. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Third-party services

Apps may use platform services (Google Play, App Store, device OS) and advertising or measurement providers. Those services have their own terms and privacy policies. The apps may also load information from public or official websites so you can view it more easily; those sites are not controlled by us.

14. Not a government service

Oxorbit apps are independent products. They are not official government applications and do not represent any government department or public authority, even when they help you look up public information or prepare for an official test.

15. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted at this URL. The “last edited” date at the top will change when we update it. Continued use of the apps after an update means you accept the revised policy.
